مَشْدُوهٌ

A man confounded, or perplexed, and unable to see his right course; or bereft of his reason or intellect. (S, TA. [But according to AZ, it seems to signify only مَشْغُولٌ, i. e. Busied, occupied, or employed, &c.: see 1, first sentence.])
