شَادِخٌ

A child that is soft, or tender; (K;) as also شَدَخٌ: (IAar, L:) or غُلَامٌ شَادِخٌ signifies a youth: (A:) according to IAar, a boy is called جَفْرٌ; then, يَافِعٌ; then, شَدَخٌ; then, مُطَبِّخٌ; and then, كَوْكَبٌ. (TA. [See also مُطَبِّخٌ.])
