About this project
Lane's Lexicon is the most comprehensive classical Arabic dictionary in any European language. It has been out of print for over a century and firmly in the public domain. This site presents the full text in a clean, readable format — with proper Arabic typography, resolved cross-references, and a fast search (coming soon).
