اِسْتَذَبْتُهُ

signifies طَلَبْتُ مِنْهُ الذَّوْبَ [which may be rendered I asked, or desired, of him honey, &c.]: (K:) [but according to ISd,] it signifies, agreeably with other verbs of this form, I asked, or desired, of him that he would melt or dissolve [butter &c.]. (M.)
