كُنَّا فِى ضُبْعِ فُلَانٍ

(S, O, K) and فلان ↓ ضَبْعِ and فلان ↓ ضِبْعِ (K) We were in the protection, or quarter, (كَنَف, and نَاحِيَة,) of such a one. (S, O, K: but in the K, هُوَ is put in the place of كُنَّا.)
