أَمْسَكَ: (M, K:) so in the phrase, اضبى الرَّجُلُ عَلَى مَا فِى يَدَيْهِ [The man grasped, or kept hold of, that which was in his hands]: a dialect var. of أَضْبَأَ: (Lh, M:) like أَضَبَّ. (TA in article ضبأ.)
