دُونَ ذٰلِكَ الأَمْرِ عِكَاسٌ وَمِكَاسٌ (S, A, * O, K) means [In the way to the accomplishment of that affair is] a striving to turn [therefrom]: (A, TA:) or a mutual seizing of the forelock: (A, O, K, TA:) [عِكَاسٌ and مِكَاسٌ may signify alike:] or مكاس is an imitative sequent. (O, * K, * TK.)
