عَلُوجٌ

i. q. أَلُوكٌ (O, K) and عَلُوكٌ, meaning A thing that is eaten [or chewed]: (O:) so in the phrase هٰذَا عَلُوجُ صِدْقٍ [This is an excellent thing that is chewed]. (O, K.) See also 5.
