عَرِيدٌ

Distant, or remote: (K:) of the dialect of El-Yemen. (TA.)

And Custom, habit, or wont. (Lh, K.) One says, مَا زَالَ ذٰلِكَ عَرِيدَهُ That ceased not to be his custom, habit, or wont. (Lh, TA.) [See also عِرْبَدٌّ.]
