قَطِيفَةٌ عَتِكَةٌ

[A nappy, or villous, cloth or outer garment,] coherent [in its nap], or matted [therein]: and in like manner, نَعْجَةٌ عَتِكَةُ الصُّوفِ [A ewe having the wool coherent, or matted]. (Ibn-'Abbád, O.)
