عَيْجٌ

And [its plural] أَعْيَاجٌ signifies Any means of satisfying a man's thirst: [and ↓ عِيَاجٌ seems to have a similar signification, for it is immediately added,] and one says, اللَّبَنُ عِيَاجٌ [apparently meaning Milk is a thing that satisfies thirst]. (O.)
