عَيْقَةٌ

The shore, and side, of the sea: (A'Obeyd, S, O, K:) plural عَيْقَاتٌ. (TA.)

And an open, or a wide, space of ground, in front, or extending from the sides, of a house: or a yard, or court. (TA.)
