عَزَّافٌ

Clouds (سَحَاب) in which is heard the عَزِيف (i. e. confused and continued sound [or rumbling], S) of thunder. (S, O, K, *) And Rain sounding, or sounding vehemently; synonym مُجَلْجِلٌ. (TA.) And Sand causing a sound [such as is termed عَزِيف (q. v.)] to be heard; as also ↓ عَازِفٌ. (TA.)
