تَحَلَّتْ

See حَلَيْتُ المَرْأَةَ.

[Hence,] تحلّى فُلَانٌ بِمَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ
Such a one affected that which was not in him. (TA.)

تحلّاهُ
He knew his [حِلْيَة, i. e.] quality, or qualities or attributes, or state or condition. (TA.)
