حَالِكٌ

Intensely black; as also ↓ مُحْلَوْلِكٌ (K) and ↓ حُلَكْلِكٌ and ↓ حُلْكُوكٌ and ↓ حَلَكُوكٌ and ↓ مُحْلَنْكِكٌ and ↓ مُسْتَحْلِكٌ (Ibn-'Abbád, K) and ↓ حُلَكَةٌ. (TA.) You say أَسْوَدُ حَالِكٌ and حَانِكٌ; both meaning the same; (S;) i. e. Black that is intensely black. (TA in article حنك.) And إِنَّهُ ↓ لَحُلَكَةٌ Verily he, or it, is intensely black. (TA.)
