صَوَاكِمُ

Calamities, misfortunes, or evil accidents. (K.) The Arabs say, صَوَاكِمُ الدَّهْرِ ↓ صَكَمَتْهُ [The calamities of fortune smote him; or may the calamities of fortune smite him]. (S.)
