[ , according to Freytag, occurs in the Deewán of the Hudhalees, applied to a spear, as meaning Altogether straight, so that the whole trembles: for that which is crooked does not. But this, if not a mistranscription, is apparently used by poetic license, for مُطَّرِدٌ.]
