تَبْصِيلٌ

The act of stripping, or divesting; [like as when one strips an onion (بَصَلَة) of its coats;] (K;) as also ↓ تَبَصُّلٌ. (Fr, K.) You say, بَصَّلْتُ الرَّجُلَ عِنْ ثِيَابِهِ [and ↓ تَبَصَّلْتُهُ] I stripped the man of his clothes. (TA.)
