دُعْوِىٌّ
is a word used only in negative sentences: (S:) you say, مَا بِالدَّارِ دُعْوِىٌّ
There is not in the house any one: (S, K: *) Ks says that it is from دَعَوْتُ, and [properly] means لَيْسَ فِيهَا
مَنْ يَدْعُو [there is not in it one who calls, &c.]. (S.)
