دَمَرَ عَلَيْهِمْ, (S, * M, A, K,) aorist دَمُرَ , (S, M,) verbal noun دُمُورٌ (S, M, A, K) and دَمْرٌ, (M,) He intruded upon them; went, or came, in to them without permission: (S, * M, A, K: *) or intruded upon them in an evil manner. (K.) It is said in a tradition, مَنْ سَبَقَ طَرْفُهُ اسْتِيءْذَانَهُ فَقَدْ دَمَرَ He whose look precedes his asking permission [does that which is as bad as the act of him who] enters without permission. (S, * TA.) And it is said, إِذَا دَخَلْتَ الدُّورَ إِيَّاكَ وَ الدُّمُورَ When thou enterest houses, [meaning, desirest to enter them,] beware of entering without permission. (A.)
