دَيْبُوذ

A garment, or piece of cloth, having a double woof; explained by ثَوْبٌ ذُو نِيرَيْنِ: plural دَيَابُوذٌ [an anomalous form of plural] and دَيَابِيذ: (Kudot;:) or دَيَابُوذٌ has this signification; explained by ثَوْبٌ يُنْسَجُ بِيءرَيْنِ; [in form] as though [an irreg.] plural or دَيْبُوذٌ, of the measure فَيْعُولٌ: (S, L:) an arabicized word, from the Persian دُو بُوذ [or دُو Pُود]: (A 'Obeyd, S, L, K: *) sometimes arabicized with an unpointed د [for its final letter].
