هُوَ يَسْتَفْرِهُ الأَفْرَاسَ

means يَسْتَكْرِمُهَا [i. e. He seeks the horses, or mares, that are of generous race]: (aK, TA:) and the like is said in the A, but with الدَّوَابَّ in the place of الافراس. (TA.)
