استفخرهُ

He bought it فَاخِرًا [i. e. of a good, a goodly, or an excellent, quality], namely, a garment, or piece of cloth, (Lth, O,) or a thing. (K.) And in like manner the verb is used in relation to the giving [and apparently the taking] in marriage. (O.)
