فَاخَتِ الرِّيحُ

, aorist تَفِيخُ, verbal noun فَيْخٌ and فَيَخَانٌ: see 1 in article فوخ. Accord. to Kr and the K, فَيْخٌ signifies A spreading, or becoming diffused; like فِيْحٌ: (TA:) but ISd expresses doubt of the correctness of this: (L, TA:) it is [said to be] a verbal noun in this sense. (TK.)
