He (a man, TA) slept upon what is termed
غَفًى, i. e. the straw, in the place in which the grain thereof was trodden out: (K:) mentioned as from IAar by Az, and by Sgh as from AA. (TA.)

The wheat was abundant in its
نُخَالَة, according to the copies of the K, but more properly its نُفَايَة [i. e. refuse]. (TA.)
