(S, * MA, K. *) IDrd mentions, among some of the sayings of the people of former ages, ↓ أُنَّ مَاءً وَغَلِّهِ [Pour thou out water, and make it to boil]. (TA.) And one says, أَغْلَيْتُ الزَّيْتَ وَنَحْوَهُ [I made the olive-oil and the like to boil], verbal noun إِغْلَاءٌ. (Msb.)
