غَسْلَةٌ

[A single act of washing: plural غَسَلَاتٌ].

[Hence,] one says, بَنَوْا هٰذِهِ المَدِينَةَ بِغَسَلَاتِ أَيْدِيهِمْ (assumed tropical:) [They built this city] by means of their earnings. (TA.)
