غَتِمَ

, aorist غَتَمَ , verbal noun غَتَمٌ, He had an impotence, or an impediment, or a difficulty, in his speech, or utterance; and a barbarousness, or vitiousness, therein, especially in speaking Arabic; i. e., a want of clearness, perspicuousness, distinctness, chasteness, or correctness, therein.
