See غَامَتِ السَّمَاءُ.

أَغْيَمَ القَوْمُ [The people, or party, had a clouded sky;] clouds came upon the people, or party. (S, K.)

And أَغْيَمَ He (a man, TA) became stationary (K, TA) like the clouds. (TA.)
