هَمْرَجَةٌ

Confusion; (K, L;) as also هَمْرَجٌ, and
هَمَرَّجٌ, and هَمَرَّجَةٌ: example of the last وَقَعَ
القَوْمُ فِى هَمَرَّجَةٍ
The people fell into a state of confusion: (L:) and the third (L) and fourth (TA) signify also civil war, or conflict and faction, or discord, or dissension; synonym فِتْنَةٌ. (L, TA.)

A confused manner, or state, in walking. (S.)

A confused noise, or mixture of voices, or unintelligible sounds, of men; as also
هُمْرُجَانٌ. (K.)

Lightness, or agility, and quickness. (K.)

What is rain, or false; synonym بَاطِلٌ. (K.)
6.
الغُولُ هَمْرَجَةٌ مِنَ الجِنِّ
The Ghool are a mixture of the Jinn. (L.)
