مِْهَمازٌ

and مِهْمَزٌ (S, Msb, K) A well-known thing; (Msb;) [namely, a spur;] an iron which is [attached or fixed] in the kinder part of the boot of him who breaks, or trains, beasts of carriage: (S, K:) plural [of the former] مَهَامِيزُ (K) and [of the latter] مَهَامِزُ. (S, K.) See also مِهْمَزَة.
