جَذْلَانُ

[in copies of the K with tenween, but correctly without tenween, for the feminine is جَذْلَاءُ,] Joyful, glad, or happy; (S, K;) as also ↓ جَذِلٌ; (K;) and ↓ جَاذِلٌ occurs in poetry: (IDrd, K:) plural جُذْلَانٌ. (K.) You say, نَفْسُهُ جَذْلَاءُ بِذٰلِكَ His soul is joyful, glad, or happy, by means of that. (TA.)
