جَمِيرَةٌ

A plait of hair: (T, Msb, K:) and i. q. ذُوءَابَةٌ [apparently here meaning a plait of hair hanging down; or a lock of hair hanging down loosely from the middle of the head to the back]: (TA:) and ↓ جَمْرَةٌ a lock of hair: (TA:) plural of the former جَمَايءِرُ. (T, Msb.)
