دَعَوْا دَعْوَةً كَوْكَبِيَّةً

[They uttered an imprecation like that of Kowkebeeyeh]: a proverb. الكَوْكَبِيَّةُ was a town the people of which were oppressed by its governor, wherefore they uttered an imprecation against him, and he died immediately after it. (K.)
