كُسْءٌ

and ↓ كُسُوْءٌ The hinder, or latter, part of anything: plural أَكْسَاءٌ. (S, K.)

كُسْءٌ الشَّهْرِ, and ↓ كُسُوْوءُهُ, The latter part of the month; its last ten days, or about that period. (TA.)

جَاءَ فِى كُسْءِ الشَّهْرِ, and عَلَى كُسْيءِهِ, He came in the latter part, or end, of the month. (TA.)

جَاءَ عَلَى كُسْءِ الشَّهْرِ, and على أَكْسَايءِهِ, and ↓ جِيءْتُكَ عَلَى كُسَايءِهِ, [in the TA written, apparently by a mistake of the transcriber, على كساءه, and فِى كُسَايءِهِ, [so in the TA,] He came, and I came to thee, at the end of the month, after the whole month had passed. (TA.)

جِيءْتُ فِى أَكْسَاءِ القَوْمِ I came among the latter of the people. (TA.)

مَرُّوا فِى أَكْسَاءِ المُنْهَزِمِينَ, and على أَكْسَايءِهِمْ, They went at the heels of the routed party. (TA.) رَكِبَ كُسْأَهُ He fell upon the back of his neck, or head. (K.)
