لَطَثَهُ

, (aorist لَطِثَ , verbal noun لَطْثٌ, L,) He struck him with the flat of the hand; or, with a broad piece of wood: (IAar, K:) he slapped him with his open hand; synonym صَكَّهُ; (K;) like لَطَمَهُ. (TA.) [See also لَطَسَهُ.]

لَطَثَهُ بِحَجَرٍ He threw a stone at him; (K;) as also لَطَسَهُ. (TA.)

-A3- لَطَثَهُ الأَمْرُ, (aorist لَطِثَ , verbal noun لَطْثٌ,) The affair was difficult, or troublesome, to him. (K.)
