لُمْعَةٌ

A shining, glistening, or glossy, appearance, [or hue,] of the body: (K:) any colour different from another colour [in which it is]; (TA;) [a spot of colour].

[Primarily] A portion of herbage beginning to dry up. (S, Msb, K.)
