لَوْجَاءُ

and لُوَيْجَاءُ [the latter the diminutive of the former] A want; a thing wanted; an object of want: (TA:) from لَاجَهُ as explained above. (K.)

مَا فِى صَدْرِهِ حَوْجَاءُ وَلَا لَوْجاءُ إِلَّا قَضَيْتُهَا There was not a want in his bosom but I accomplished it. (TA.)

مَالِى فِيهِ حَوْجَاءُ وَلَا لَوْجَاءُ وَلَا حُوَيْجَاءُ وَلَا لُوَيْجَاءُ I have no want, [nor any little want,] with respect to him, or it. (Lh.)

مَالِى عَلَيْهِ حِوَجٌ وَلَا لِوجٌ [I have no wants which it is incumbent upon him to supply: حَوَجٌ being a plural of حَاجَةٌ; and لِوَجٌ, irregularly, of لَوْجَاءُ, in imitation of حِوَجٌ]. (TA.)
