استمنحهُ

He asked, desired, or sought, a loan, or gift, (مِنْحَة,) of him; i. e., asked, desired, or sought aid, or assistance, from him; synonym إِسْتَرْفَدَهُ; (S;) or asked, &c., a gift from him. (K.)
