[A person or thing described; distinguished by an epithet: and hence, a substantive qualified by an epithet].

مَنْعُوتٌ بِالْكَرَمِ [Described as possessing, or characterized by, or distinguished by, generosity; distinguished by the epithet of generous]. (A.)
