Going, or being, away from (عَنْ) a place, person, or thing.
2.
مُتَنَحًّى [A place to which to turn away, or back, from a thing; or to which one removes, withdraws, or retires afar off]. (K, voce مَنْكَصٌ.) See مَنْكَصٌ and مَحْرِفٌ.
