تَنَبَّهَ عَلَى الشَّىْءِ

He became acquainted with the thing; became informed of it; had notice of it. (S.)

تَنَبَّهَ لَِلْأَمْرِ (tropical:) [His attention became roused, or he had his attention roused, to the thing, or affair]. (Msb and TA in article يقظ.)

تَنَبَّهَ (tropical:) He became vigilant, wary, or cautious. (Msb, TA.)

تَنَبَّهَ and ↓ اِنْتَبَهَ (tropical:) He became roused from heedlessness or inadvertence; his attention became roused; or he had his attention roused. (TA.)
