استنبتهُ

[He endeavoured to make it grow, or vegetate, or germinate]. (TA, article بلس.) استنبتهُ بالبَذْرِ [He grew it, or raised it, by means of seed], and بِالنَّوَى [by means of date-stones], and بالغَرْسِ [by means of planting]. (Mgh, article حرث.)
