نَبَثٌ

A trace, vestige, or mark: (K:) a trace, or mark, of digging: (A:) plural أَنْبَاثٌ. (TA.)

مَا رَأَيْتُ لَهُ عَيْنًا وَلَا نَبَثًا I saw not the man himself, or the thing itself, nor any trace of him, or it. (L.)
