, verbal noun مُنَاهَدَةٌ, i. q.نَاهَضَهُ; (S, A, L, Msb, K;) He attacked or assaulted him, or rose and hastened and went forth to or towards him, in war; he directed his course towards him, and commenced fighting with him. (M, L.)
