, (Msb, K,) verbal noun قَرْطَسَةٌ, (Msb,) He (an archer) [and it (an arrow)] hit the قِرْطَاس [or target]. (Msb, K.) It is also allowable to say, قَرْطَسَتِ الرَّمْيَةُ The shot went right to the قِرْطَاس. (Msb.)
