Acting equitably, or justly. (S, M.) It is said in the Qur'an, 5:46, and xlix. 9, and lx. 8,] إِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ المُقْسِطِينَ [God loveth those who act equitably, or justly]. (S, M.)
