Also, (JK,) or ↓مَقِيظَةٌ, (K,) A plant, or herbage, that remains green until theقَيْظ [or summer], (Lth, JK, K,) although the land and leguminous plants be dried up, (Lth, TA,) being a means of subsistence for the camels when other herbage has become dry. (Lth, JK, K.)
