ارتشم

, in the copies of the K erroneously written ↓ أَرْشَمَ, [is explained as meaning] He stamped, or sealed, his vessel with the رَوْشَم: thus in the saying of El-Aashà, as some relate it,

وَصَلَّى عَلَى دَنِّهَا وَارْتَشَمْ

but according to others, وَارْتَسَمْ. (TA. [See article رسم.])
