رُمْلَةٌ

singular of رُمَلٌ, which signifies The diversity of colours (وَشْىٌ) upon the legs of the wild bull: (T: [see also رَمَلٌ:]) or رُمْلَةٌ signifies a black line or streak, (IKh, M, IB, K,) as some say, (M,) such as is upon the back and thighs of the gazelle: (IKh, IB:) plural [of mult.] رُمَلٌ and [of pauc.] أَرْمَالٌ.
